I am a PhD student in AI applied to Healthcare, working on extrapolation of uncertainty in medical notes via NLP and feeding that in a bayesian network model for clinical decision making. I previously graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Udine and further specialised in Anesthetics and Intensive Care in Trieste. After qualifying I worked at Humanitas Clinical and Research Center in Milan, Italy, and transferred to the UK working in the NHS (Imperial College Healthcare Trust, Guy’s and St Thomas’ Trust) since March 2020.
