I am a research associate in multi-modal language processing. I completed my PhD thesis on “multi-modal neural machine translation (MMT)” in Le Mans University, where I focused on integrating the visual modality into state-of-the-art neural machine translation architectures as a secondary source of information. Previously, I also worked on Brain Computer Interfaces (BCI) and on Linux-based operating system development in Turkey. My general interests include open-source software, research and engineering around language technologies.
