I am a Research Associate in Machine Translation at the University of Sheffield. My main research areas are Text Simplification and Evaluation of Natural Language Generation. I currently work on Word-level Quality Estimation for MT in Bergamot. Previously, I was a Research Associate for APE-QUEST, where I evaluated the benefits of incorporating a Quality Estimation module to an MT and Post-Editing workflow in a translation company. In 2020, I submitted my PhD thesis on “Automatic Sentence Simplification with Multiple Rewriting Transformations”, supervised by Prof. Lucia Specia and Dr. Carolina Scarton at the University of Sheffield.
