I'm a Research Associate in Machine Translation Quality Estimation at the University of Sheffield. I am working with Dr Lucia Specia on a Horizon 2020 project for Browser-based Multilingual Translation. I completed my PhD in Natural Language Processing and Deep Learning from the University of Durham, UK. Previously, I have worked as a software engineer at Accenture developing software for an automobile client. My current research interest is in compressing large neural Quality Estimation models amenable to be transferred over the network and be deployed at client-side in web browsers. More generally, I am interested in how computational linguistics and machine learning can be combined to provide compelling NLP applications.
