I am Prof. Lucia Specia and Dr. Matthew Williams’ UKRI AI4Health PhD student currently studying longitudinal speech as non-invasive biomarkers of brain tumours. I studied medicine at the University of Aberdeen and was attached to the Brain and Mind Institute, University of Western Ontario, during my elective. After qualifying,I worked in the NHS where I spent nearly three years combined in clinical neurosciences (Queen Square London, Sheffield and Aberdeen). I completed my MSc in Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (where I became interested in Machine Learning and Statistical Methods in Epidemiology), PGCert Medical Education at Keele and Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians.
